Lightship partnered with Wildsam to create a campaign connecting the electric roadtrip with one of America's most trusted outdoor travel publishers. I led the art direction and client relationship across a five-month, multi-channel rollout, including a 5-day photoshoot through the Southwest to capture original content, spanning a short film, print ads, digital guides, and sponsored editorial that reached over 13 million impressions across Wildsam's adventure-driven readership.

Short Film:
The Electric Road Trip

A cinematic short film premiered December 2025 and distributed across YouTube, email, and social. The film set the emotional tone for the entire campaign: adventure, openness, and the quiet confidence of going further.

On-Location Shoot

The visual foundation of the campaign. Over five days in October, we drove the Lightship through the Desert Southwest, shooting sunrise landscapes, life inside the trailer and the small moments of fun on the road. The goal was imagery that felt lived-in rather than produced.

Southwest Digital Guide

A Desert Southwest travel guide presented by Lightship and published on Wildsam.com. Lightship's brand presence was woven into the editorial rather than bolted on, a key creative decision that kept the content credible to Wildsam's discerning readership.

Sponsored Editorial

A long-form Desert Southwest road trip story, told the way Wildsam tells it. Lightship was woven into a three-day itinerary across canyon country in a way that felt like editorial discovery rather than brand promotion.
